How do I cancel my service subscription?
Login to your remote Mac mini or Mac Studio MC2 instance:
1) Open "System Preferences..."
2) Logout of iCloud.
3) Logout of Find My Mac.
4) Select "Erase all content and settings" from the "System Prefs" menu.
5) Confirm as requested you really want to wipe clean all data.
6) Send an email to email@example.com you want to cancel your subscription (please include the IP address).
Do I need to create an account to place an order?
No, it's not needed to have any account to place an order. If you have one, it just make the process easier. If you create an account later, your orders will be automatically displayed if you are using the same email.
How does billing work?
Mac mini MC2 instances are charged to your credit card each month on the day that you first ordered service. You may cancel service at any time, but payments are not refunded for unused time that month.
How to register or transfer a domain name?
As a service to our customers we will register, renew, or transfer your domain name(s). The cost for a new registration, renewal, or transfer varies by TLD but is usually around $20/yr which covers the ICANN fee. Contact support with the domain name and instructions. Domain name transfers to MacWeb.com require that the domain name at the current registrar is unlocked, and that you have the AuthCode to validate the transfer. DNS hosting of your domain name is free.
Do you require a contract?
We do NOT require a service contract for all on-demand single-node Mac mini MC2 instance. For custom and volume orders we may require a service contract depending on the Mac mini configuration and quantity needed. Need to custom build your own private cloud with a Mac mini MC2 cluster?
